Training the next generation...

The ACT collaboration knows that training the next generation of scientists is paramount to making progress in CMB research. As such, each year they take on a number of activities that help junior scientists position themselves for future success. One example is shown in the picture above, where Alex van Engelen and Mat Madhavacheril lead one of the break out sessions at the most recent Data Science School. The ACT collaboration has hosted two of these schools where analysis experts tutor junior scientists on the skills necessary to get started on CMB data analysis.
